Fun at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum
Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum offers many free creative events and inspiring activities for families. For example, families can pop in at any time to explore the mobile Art Cart and take part in exciting interactive exhibits. Haddie's Trails will help families with very young children to explore displays in the museum and will finish in Haddie's Gallery, a space designed especially for families. There are four different trails to try and each one can take as little or as much time as the visitors want. The trails are available during normal opening hours and can be collected from the art gallery reception desk.
There are also the regular Art Cart Family Fun sessions which take place on the last Saturday of each month from 1 - 3pm. These are informal, friendly events where families can drop in and enjoy artistic activities in the galleries.
There is no need to book and admission is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all events. For more information including opening times visit www.warwickdc.gov.uk/royalpumprooms or call 01926 742700.

Full English Breakfast @ Murphy's Bar
I was in the mood for a breakfast and settled on Murphy's; reputed to be both Leamington's friendliest and roughest pub (depending upon who you speak to). The bar *did* fall quiet when i walked in. I chose to embrace the cliche and ordered half a pint of lager. Although the there was plenty of space, i thought better of sitting at the bar, opting to sit near the door (just in case). I enjoyed a Full English Breakfast for about half the price you'd pay for an inferior breakfast anywhere else in town! I was so impressed I ate both eggs (i don't even like eggs!) and I wasn't involved in any fights nor was I overtly intimidated. The regulars *don't* bite, apparently (depending upon who you speak to)..
